Colchester for City Status in 2012?
The Government has announced that a competition will be held to award city status to a British town as part of HM the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations in 2012.
We have studied the case and believe that Colchester would benefit significantly from this honour and that an application compiled by dC will offer amazing value for money.

Colchester in Bloom
Our Colchester in Bloom group has revived this as a community-led initiative, winning a Silver Gilt award for Colchester at their first attempt in 2010! The project continues to go from strength to strength.

The dC Events project group is really getting into its stride, working closely with Keep Colchester Cool and Slack Space to encourage, enable and promote new events throughout the year.
